The day after Vivi’s Birthday Bash, we loaded up the family in two cars and headed over the river and through the woods to take freezing cold family pictures at a local park. I am crazy but really wanted them to be outside, where the light is so much better! Well it was exciting to say the least…Vivi clung to me like a baby koala, Caroline wanted nothing to do with any of it, and did I mention everyone was freezing?? All I know is thank god for Kay Kay, who was able to get the little ones to crack a smile here or there!

This photo shoot was partly because Kay Kay and Pa were in town, partly for our Christmas card pictures, partly to get a good one of the birthday girl for her one year old portrait, and partly for a very special reason indeed…
