A Very Ruby Jubilee Celebration Weekend

A Very Ruby Jubilee Celebration Weekend

A ruby anniversary celebrates 40 years…so when you have two close friends turning 40 in the same month, it’s a ruby jubilee celebration! My WAIFWYP crew (Why Am I Friends With You People?) of rugby friends gathered in June for a weekend of eating chips n’ salsa at Guapo’s, bar hopping, dancing, and karaoke. Here are the two ruby jubilee birthday girls: Everyone gathered on Thursday night and we broke out these celebratory cups. Saturday morning was exciting because Joy…

Father’s Day 2018

Father’s Day 2018

Here is a picture of Speady Baby #2, taken at 11 weeks: A few notes about this pregnancy: During the first trimester, I was tired but otherwise feeling good. During our Travelin’ Chicks trip to Austin, I may have been in the heat too much because the first few…

A Rugby Kind of Weekend

A Rugby Kind of Weekend

June 2, 2018 was a big day in Washington, DC–Wales vs. South Africa in a rugby match unlike one the US has ever seen. I invited rugby friends for the occasion and we had a great time! The match was at RFK stadium, which had definitely seen better days, but we didn’t let that affect us. Mike joined us three rugby players for the match and enjoyed hearing all about how to play the sport đŸ™‚ We got a babysitter…
