Vivienne at 18 Months

Vivi Girl turned 1.5 years old right before Memorial Day Weekend. She is cuddly, loving, and smiley…until she gets mad and turns stubborn, screechy, and a bit whiny! She loves drinking out of big kid cups, eating whatever you are eating, wearing sunglasses, snuggling her baby dolls, and reading books in your lap. She loves riding her scooter (until she is DONE with it and then insists on being carried), brushing her teeth, buckling anything she can buckle (her high chair, the Buckle Turtle, her carseat strap), and hanging out with Caroline in Caroline’s crib. She does NOT enjoy when Caroline snatches things from her and she lets her know it!

This one has a LOT of personality! Here she is ready to head out to her 18 month check up:

At the doc visit:

At 18 months, here’s a snapshot of our girl:

  • She weighs 28 pounds (97th percentile)
  • She measures 32 inches tall (80th percentile)
  • She wears size 2T pants, 18-24 month dresses…Suelen is working her way through Vivi’s closet before she outgrows the cute summer stuff!
  • She is still in a size 5 diaper
  • She uses a fork or spoon like a pro and is pretty good at drinking from a big kid cup…however, every night she still throws her cup and plate on the ground when she is done. Thank god for Finny!
  • She loves filling up water bottles with ice water from the fridge
  • She understands most of what you say to her but doesn’t use a lot of words. She makes a LOT of sounds and babbles.
  • Words she will say: yeah, mama, dog, hiiiiiii, bow, and now, recently: up
  • She loves peek a boo and playing hide and seek with Caroline outside
  • She loves playing in the baby pool and with the water table–water optional!
