Vivienne at 14 Months

Vivi turned 14 months old in January and LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE A WALKER! Sure, she took her sweet time, had to constantly be coaxed by Suelen even to try to walk, and would take a step once then switch back to crawling, but she has DONE it. I mean, she still likes to be carried everywhere, and we are still not in the habit of putting her in shoes (her new ladybug shoes took forever to get here!) but she is in the Walking Club.

Other loves? She still loves climbing on step stools, playing with her toothbrush, pushing her shopping cart (even on the sidewalk), and riding her pony–next to Caroline on her elephant. And let’s not forget her favorite thing to do…eat!

Here we are about 6 houses down the street from our own. It took us 45 minutes to get here. We then turned around and I had to carry Vivi, and Waddle Waddle, and the shopping cart all back up the hill to our house. I walked in the door, handed them all to Mike, and took a nap!

These two cannot get enough of riding side by side…and matching their clothes.

When in doubt, this is where you’ll find this girl! In her bathroom, on the step stool, holding her toothbrush, with all drawers open and random piles in the sink. #toddlerlife

One Friday morning, per Caroline’s request, I dressed the girls in these outfits:

And later that day after work, Mike came home to this:

Talk about a warm welcome!

Later that weekend, when it was freezing cold outside, we loaded up the little ladies and headed to a playseum where they got to dress up as firefighters and meet/pet/harass the world’s largest bunny.

Cherry Blossom you were so tolerant! Seriously this bunny just surrendered itself to all of the toddler hands.

Vivi’s ladybug shoes FINALLY arrived and she was smitten with them:

And Suelen, god love her, managed to get a bow in that hair that Vivi left in long enough to snap a picture! I know she looks thrilled about that.

Happy 14 months, Vivi Kate!
