Vivienne at 8 Months

Vivienne at 8 Months

Our Vivi Girl turned 8 months old right after she celebrated her first ever Kearney Family Reunion. What a way to celebrate! She had a big month, too–learning how to sit up all by herself, meeting Baby Dean (and his parents!), eating so many solid foods, and drinking from a water cup. She now has found her voice and loves being right next to Big Sister–she sits right next to her sister at the dining table. She also loved flying to Charleston and celebrating her first Fourth of July!

Here’s a snapshot of Vivi Kate at 8 months:

  • She is still in size 3 diapers.
  • She takes 2-ish naps a day, drinks a 4 oz bottle every 3-4 hours, and sleeps from 8 pm to 7 am (usually like a rock!)
  • She is wearing 9 months clothes, some even 12 months.
  • She is so smiley in the morning! Especially when Caroline pops into her crib.
  • She is very good at grabbing—toys, puffs, food, you name it.
  • She squawks and squeals when she sees food, until you give it to her!
  • She loves to swing. The higher the better.
  • She is ticklish! ANd she gives you deep laughs when you hit the right spots.
  • She always has to be holding something…and that something will make its way to her mouth.
  • She loves drinking water from a cup!
  • She is mesmerized by Big Sister!

Happy 8 months, Vivi Kate!
