Well this little lady has had a BIG six months and today she is TWO!! What a year it’s been. Vivi is such a little light on our house. I call her a hambone. Her smile makes you smile and her laugh is contagious. She has the best sense of humor and she actively tries to make you laugh–usually by wearing something on her face or head. She puts anything and everything on her face and head. Seriously. Goggles. Snorkeling masks. Plates. Sunglasses. Towels. Blankets. She is usually running. Or asking for a Kiddie ‘Coptail.’ Or running to you, cup in hand, asking for a Kiddie Coptail–with ice ‘peas.’ 🙂 She loooves Caroline, except when Caroline has something she wants, and then she’ll give a loud “NO! My turn!!” And usually bursts into tears. Vivi is our crybaby. The waterworks dry up miraculously when something she likes comes along. She also potty trained before 2. She is different from Caroline in that I almost never know what she is going to do or how she will react to things. She was late to walk and talk and has grown up so much this summer. More words. Stronger opinions. More temper tantrums. Loves cuddling and being gentle to Harrison and Bryce. This girl knows her mind for sure. She has a plan. You may not know it, but that doesn’t matter to her!

At 2 years old, here’s a snapshot of our girl:

• She wears size 2-3T pants, 2T dresses, and 3T undies…those chunky little legs!
• Vivi loves, loves, loves Frosty the Snowman, cheese, and Jingle Bell Rock. Probably in that order.
• She will ask Alexa over and over to play Frosty the Snowman by Jimmy Durante.
• She goes through obsessive phases: right now it’s Frosty the Snowman, it has also been Baby Beluga. She also loves the Brazilian book from Suelen about Saci Perere (“Saci Perere is a happy boy. He only has one leg but he jumps around just fine.”)
• Vivi is still in a crib but we will probably transition her soon to a Big Girl Bed.
• She loves when I tuck her in at night and have her puppy Grass Stain woof to her and have llama interpret.
• She loves Spot (the book), basketballs, bubbles, and band aids.
• She calls Caroline “Kat-ee.”
• She calls Harrison “Wee” and can easily say his name Harrison.
• Preston is “Pressy” and Bryce is “Bryce Bananee” and Kay Kay has a “bird nest” and she ALWAYS asks about Pa. Always.
• She never says Finnegan but will say Finny NO!
• She calls Suelen “Sa.”
• Mike is dad-eeeee and I am mom-eeee.
• She loves the ride on pony Rody Pony.
• Vivi has no fear about the water–she loves getting her face wet and never gets afraid, even when she should be!

She loves Caroline and wants to do whatever she is doing:

She loves Harrison. And is very gentle to him!

She also really looks up to Preston (“Pressy”):

You almost always find Vivi with something on her face or head. And she wants to get your reaction, for sure.
