Fall Fun 2019
Fall is here! Fall is here! Time for apples and pumpkins and festivals and long sleeves and cool breezes and open windows and fresh-smelling candles. We welcomed in October and kicked of the autumn season with lots of fun playing outside, picking out our family Halloween costumes, celebrating Roman turning TWO, hosting John and Eva for a weekend, and welcoming our brand new baby nephew into the world. We attended a HS football game, had brunch with the Metcalfs at Busboys, and spent a lot of time on blankets on the front lawn.
You could find us at Swim Lessons each and every Sunday morning…Vivi and I swim together, then Caroline and Mike take their turn in the pool.
One Sunday, we played hooky from swimming to watch the Patriots vs. Redskins matchup at FedEx Field in early October, when we also hosted John and Eva…
We met friends at the St. Ann’s Fall Festival, where Caroline was delighted to select a dum dum from the Lollipop Tree. She also got to play with Eliza and Vivi on the playground and ride the train with Henry. Most importantly, though–she got to try cotton candy for the first time!
We had a great time at Roman’s second birthday party. He had two pinatas and the Coco theme was awesome. After the festivities, Caroline and Roman enjoyed running around in circles in the yard and doing gymnastics together.
Suelen dressed these little pumpkins up as pumpkins…
We enjoyed frolicking in the grass and leaves at Fraser Park:
Caroline practiced her scootering and chasing the neighborhood cat around, forcing it to drink milk:
We visited sweet friends who are moving back to Texas and I put the girls in matching outfits to grab a family picture:
We got some cute new fall clothes and these girls volunteered to model them for us. We are ready for the season!
Happy Fall, everyone!
