When Caroline was a baby, I put her in a pumpkin for her first Halloween. She was seven months old and did not enjoy the experience one bit. However, she looked adorable and I managed to get a few good pictures of her celebrating the season. So this year, even though Vivi was 11 months old and a wee bit larger than Caroline, I knew I had to do it for her, too…I can’t have Vivi thinking she is any less loved, now can I?

Meg came over for the event and my trusty sidekick and I got to work scooping out the pumpkin. We needed all the room inside that we could get!

Meg scraped the pumpkin clean on the inside and we all headed outside for The Main Event…can you guess who was most excited to put Vivi in a pumpkin?!? BIG SISTER.

We stripped her down to her diaper, folder her legs, and plopped her in:

She tolerated it just fine until she had enough:

After all that, we scooped her up, wiped her down, and brought her inside. Nice job, Vivi! (Just for fun, here’s Caroline’s experience!)
