Vivienne at 9 Months
Vivi Girl turned 9 months old in the middle of August. We celebrated by going to my office so she could meet all of her admirers! It was Vivi’s first time ever there and Caroline’s first time since she was 5 months old. Afterwards we continued the celebration with Vivi’s 9 month check up, where the doctor pronounced her fit and healthy and wonderful. Vivi is our smiley girl, loves to pull up in her crib, is starting to scoot around, has a great sense of adventure, and now debuts TWO bottom teeth…when she’ll show them to you 🙂
She loves scootering around the playground…
And putting her fingers in my mouth to pull on my bottom teeth. It makes her belly laugh each time.
She behaves so well when we go out to eat and loves sitting in the cart swinging her legs.
She is always such a little lady:
She loved the beach and playing in the pool–both of which we did a lot of this month.
Here’s a snapshot of Vivi Kate at 9 months:
- She is 20 lbs!
- She is still in size 3 diapers.
- She now wears size 2 in shoes. I got her adorable little white shoes.
- She takes 2-ish naps a day, drinks a 4 oz bottle every 3-4 hours, and sleeps from 8 pm to 7 am (usually like a rock!)
- She is wearing 9 months clothes, some even 12 months.
- She is so smiley in the morning! Especially when Caroline pops into her crib.
- She is very good at grabbing—toys, puffs, food, you name it.
- She squawks and squeals when she sees food, until you give it to her!
- She loves to pull herself up to standing.
- She loves playing on the playground.
- She is ticklish! ANd she gives you deep laughs when you hit the right spots.
- She always has to be holding something…and that something will make its way to her mouth.
- She loves drinking water from a cup.
- She is mesmerized by Big Sister!
Happy 9 months, Vivi Kate!
