So a few weeks after I went back to work, Vivi turned 5 months old. 5 months!! One month away from solid foods! She is getting more sturdy (and can rest on my hip now), she’s still waking up (just once) in the night, and her face breaks into a huge smile whenever she makes eye contact with anyone. She is a total baby about having to be rocked to sleep (some nights it takes forever to get her really ‘down’ for the night!) and that’s with covering her hands, turning on the sleep sheep, and giving her a paci.

Here’s our girl sporting her best spring fashion. It’s so nice to break out the best spring clothes!

Here’s a snapshot of Vivi Kate at 5 months:

• She is in size 3 diapers.
• She is wearing 6 months clothes. Bring on ALL THE SPRING THINGS!
• She is rolling over (as of April 13th) from back to tummy but then has a hard time getting back to her back at night.
• She is drooly and loves putting her fingers (and feet!) in her mouth.
• She loves holding toys in her hands and likes laying on her playmat.
• She has acquired a larger, more appropriate Bumbo seat that fits her large thighs!
• She loves Caroline and follows her with her eyes.
