Vivi Kate turned three months old on February 22 and we celebrated by going to Florida and taking her inaugural plane trip! At 3 months old, Vivi is “talking” a lot, cooing, waving her hands around, and showing off her tiny dimple when she makes big smiles. She spends a little bit more time awake, and when she does, she is content to look at the world around her and talk to herself. But who are we kidding–most of the day, she still looks like this:

Sometimes though, if you catch her right, you capture her big grin!

Here’s a snapshot of Vivi Kate at 3 months:

• She has rolled over exactly one time, at the beach (in the beach tent).
• She had her first plane ride and did great! She wore the same cute Kate Spade outfit Big Sister Caroline wore on her inaugural flight (also to Florida) when she was 3 months old, too!
• She is now sleeping in her crib in the nursery (although I still pull her into bed with me after about 6 am).
• She had a wonderful meeting the WAIFWYP crew in Florida over President’s Day weekend. Phoenix and Rio doted on her and she was good as gold.
• She tolerated the infant life jacket better than most when boating in Florida and enjoyed the boat as long as there was a bottle at the ready!
• She still sleeps a LOT during the day.
• She eats every 4-5 hours during the day and sleeps through the night.
• It is so cool to watch her discovering her own hands. It always makes me think of Grandma Fancy, because that was her favorite baby stage.
• She takes a 4 oz bottle no problem.

Vivi experienced her first Super Bowl (and Patriots win):

Vivi also met her friend Jack on Superbowl Sunday:

We did lots of baby yoga and sometimes Eliza joined us:

We also spent time with our buddy Toby:

We flew on an airplane for the first time, to Florida:
