Vivienne’s Sip and See
On January 12, Vivienne Kathleen was celebrated in style! Joy and Lee threw the most wonderful Sip and See at Ed and Susan’s house. Holly helped with the baking and everything was just beautiful–there were so many sweet touches and it was great to have my friends and family gathered to met this little lady.
We dressed her in the gorgeous handmade outfit from Raul’s mom, which Vivi received for Christmas:
They decorated the mantle with this sweet banner and onesie, along with the pretty floral pattern that will look so gorgeous in her nursery and lots of family pictures from our newborn photo shoot.
And they set up a featured cocktail station for the cranberry moscow mule:
They even set up a station where people could write down out ideas for sisterly fun activities for Caroline and Vivienne to do together.
The ladies served flatbeads, rainbow fruit skewers, mini sausages, cheese and crackers, cupcakes, and brownies.
Vivienne behaved beautifully!
Everyone wanted to hold this little sweet pea.
And she received so many wonderful gifts!
After the party, we braved the falling snow and headed to my house where the Robersons and Schmiesings joined us for pizza and delightful chaos. The kids played together beautifully. Their favorite activity was to drag each other by the arms or legs around the hardwood floor…hey, at least they took turns!
Pooh Bear was also a big hit with the gang: Julia (6), Luke (5), Hazel (3), Toby (3), Caroline (1), and Vivi (7 weeks).
And Joel zoomed in on this little gem happening in the corner…
And now, the ladies!
After such a fun weekend, Vivi thoroughly enjoyed the first of many gifts she received.
We love you, Vivi Kate!
