Kay Kay and Pa came to visit for a week. They were surprised by how much Caroline had changed since Christmastime. She was more vocal, active, sturdy, and engaging…even compared to just a few weeks prior. She was pulling up on furniture more and more and getting more confident and stronger by the day. It didn’t hurt that Kay Kay kept her super busy!

When Kay Kay comes to visit, you get to stay in your pajamas as long as you want, and she lets you play with kitchen utensils!

She also turns upside down the metal beverage tub that your parents use for parties so you can polish your brand new climbing moves.

When you work up an appetite, she and Pa take you out for lunch so you can catch up with your good buddy Roman Noodle. You then quickly steal Roman’s toy football and taunt him with it. He quietly contemplates his revenge. Watch out, Sugar Bear! He’s a sneaky one.

You get to attend Library Story Hour with your good friends Toby and Roman Noodle. And let’s be honest–the best thing about Library Story Hour is the TOYS (books are OK too).

You invite Roman Noodle over for dinner and get a wee bit jealous because Pa likes to hold him.

Then Roman Noodle sits on your tray! You are none too pleased about this. THAT is where the FOOD goes.

He is intrigued by your water cup. And impressed by your sophistication at drinking from it.

You sigh deeply and look deep into his eyes, explaining that he, too, will get to try this beverage. In due time.

You always have a big smile on your face when you get to spend your days with Kay Kay and Pa!
