Today, Caroline tried on her very first pair of shoes. BIG DAY.

They did not disappoint.

She could not get enough of them. She touched them, she swatted at them. But even more than that–she wanted to be as close as possible to them.

It’s amazing how seeing her wearing that tiny baby pair of black Mary Janes made her seem so much older.

Naturally, that was just about enough of that. I took off the shoes and put them away for another day. Little Girl, stop with the growing up already!
